Just recently put a set of 22" wheels on my15 (export RHD) and purchased a set of TPMS on ebay from China.
Then had the tyre shop install everything, when i drove out all 4 sensors were good and then within a couple minutes the 2 rear failed.
Bought another set from US (Thinking it may have been a dodgy set from china) and had the 2 rears swapped. Drove away from the shop and all but the front passenger were showing as failed ?
Within 10minutes of driving all but the rear passenger side came good!
Drove for a few more days thinking the final one may come good but no luck so back to the shop. I had a few spare new tpms so I said to them to first change the wheels around and see if it confirms a bad sensor and if so swap it over.
They changed the wheels around and low and behold the rear passenger still bad but other 3 good.
Now I know its not a bad sensor can anyone help on what could be the issue? Will disconnecting the battery help reset it somehow or is it time to go the burglars at the dealership and see if they know whats happening?
Any help would be appreciated guys
