Any of you heard a slight bump or clunk when reversing and tuening wheel out of parking spot coming from under the srt. Can't seem to pinpoint exactly where it comes from. Probably happens 1 of 4 times.

Re: noise when reversing..sometimes.

Every now and then I've noticed this, but it's really really slight and not terribly noticeable. I chalked it up to be the LSD in the drivetrain.

Well most likely your Transfer case could be shot. Better have a dealer to have a look before it become clunking like the other owners "clunk downshift".

Re: noise when reversing..sometimes.

If OP is just reversing out straight and is hearing a slight bump or "clunk" I could maybe fathom something could be wrong with the transfer case.

However, I am noting that the OP is only hearing this bump/clunk when reversing AND/WHILE turning which is very common with vehicles with an LSD.

Re: noise when reversing..sometimes.

My money would be on just normal drivetrain thunking as the slack is taken up by the U-joints under initial loading. I don't recall ever having a 4WD vehicle that didn't do this to some degree.

I don't really notice this on my 14. What I do notice is a slight thunk and/or grab as the ABS system does it's initial self check during the vehicle's initial movement after start up. That may also be what you're feeling and/or hearing.

Yep, thought it may be abs type of thing as well. It's slight, so I agree with your thought here. Only really felt it in reverse though.
