Here is mine before I had it corrected. You may need to zoom in a bit.

Re: Paint coming off rear fender flares

your not gonna get that lower part covered. the top of the fender I can see though. mines black and beat to shit also on the lower area. lowering it helped with it hitting the doors but the lower fender still gets nailed. putting on the 295/ 40 contis seemed to help slightly also as they were not as sticky as the stock Pirellis. The conti 295 is also 1" wider than the Pirellis. hoping getting the front camber closer to 0 will help as well, hoping....

Yeah mine is along that same edge but on top of the wheel not down where yours is which was caused by road debris. I'm guessing crappy paint or poor prep is what caused mine. Either way, FCA or dealer either one better fix it if they want me as a future customer...

Wow that's pretty bad. What kind of roads are you driving on? It looks like you drove 100 miles on a gravel road doing a 100mph

Mine is beat to shit exactly the same pattern as yours....it must be the big wide ass tires ( 305's ) flinging rocks all over it.

You mentioned you had it corrected...meaning painted?

I definitely don't think a standard cut, buff and Polish would do anything for mine

No gravel for me. Can't speak to what the previous owner did. Sad thing it's a 2015 too. I got it repainted for $400 and were good now. I sort of like giving FCA a big F you in regards to their answer to me. The clear should've covered the whole way to the edge.

Re: Paint coming off rear fender flares

One of my flares is separating at the bottom, looks like I'll have to take it in. I just need an adhesive not a paint job or replacement. My passenger side front flare has a little separation.

Re: Paint coming off rear fender flares

I have one coming off also. Thinking of just asking them to use some kind of glue on the spot rater than removing the entire flare and replacing the 3m tape. I've read a lot of horror stories about the 3m tape replacement not working well and the dealer having to order new ones which means a repaint of flares that probably won't match...

Re: Paint coming off rear fender flares

That's all I'M going to ask them to do. If they can't or won't then I"ll do it myself. I don't want a newly painted anything unless it's a mod or an accident.

Re: Paint coming off rear fender flares

Dealer called today. FCA approved all repairs. Can't get it in to them for a couple weeks though. Glad FCA did the right thing.
