Panel misalignment.

Hi guys, I'm not sure the pictures do this justice, but I have a lower panel on the passengers rear door that is out of alignment. It looks like it was just not pushed all the way in when installed. In is very difficult to see in the pictures, but quite noticeable when you see it firsthand.

Anyway, I HATE taking my car to the dealer, I just don't trust any of them, so I want try fixing this myself, but I don't know how the panel is on there, it seems like it may just be an adhesive or double stick tape? I'm think perhaps if I throw a little heat into it, I could massage it into place? Anyone have any opinions or advice either way?

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Re: Panel misalignment.

If you don't know how to do it, let the dealer do it. If they screw it up they will fix it. If you screw it up, you will pay them to fix it.

Re: Panel misalignment.

ha! Good point! Just have to get over my trust issues with them i guess, i feel like they should have caught this before I even took delivery of it though, I mean - i noticed it IMMEDIATELY, but then i forgot to point it out before i left the dealership with it. i think i was too excited about the rest of the car.
