programming key fobs

Okay, I've tried a couple times to program my main keyfob to driver 1 (me) and can't seem to figure it out.

Basically want keyfob to remember seat settings, etc so when I unlock it with that key fob, it sets seat and stuff to my settings.

Anybody got some simple steps to do this?

Followed it to the letter, many times, never works. I'm not the only one that had that experience from doing some searching...

See snapshot of what I followed. Note that in your settings on the touchscreen system, make sure driver memory recall settings (or something worded like that) is checked marked before you do the procedure.
