Pretty sure we all have the piece molded on top of the fan shroud that the metal support clamp slides into. The problem is that the metal clip is not secure and it easily slides out of the molded portion on top of the fan shroud allowing the hose to move closer to the engine.

Here are some pictures for clarification. First picture is how it should be normally sitting with radiator hose close to fan shroud. Second picture is what it looked like with radiator hose an inch away from fan shroud and rubbing against moving parts of engine.

My rad hose support doesnt look like the 1 in the picture. Mine has 2 prongs that pushes into the clip support and it locks them in and the only way to get the prongs out is push them together and pull it out. Once the prongs are locked into the support you cant move the hose in or out.

New on here. I had the same issue with the hose clip, pure luck it waited till after my 500 mile trip home from Kentucky. Can a replacement be bought or is a dealer fix?
