Just got our new 2015 and there appears to be the sound of a rolling bolt or something small inside the from passenger door. This can be heard when speeding up or coming to a stop - the sound of it rolling.
In the old days, there was many a case of UAW workers leaving little presents behind as they sent a new vehicle down the assembly line- cans, bottles, bolts, cans with bolts...you name it. My dad was a GM mechanic in the '50's and when customers came in with their new car they had just bought with a troublesome "mystery noise", he'd find all sorts of things left inside by factory workers. Doors were an easy target and yours sounds like a classic example of what I said.
Maybe somebody dropped a screw or something in your door panel, could have been accidentally, too.
Under the seat yet visible rather that in the door? Interesting, will have to take a better look.
I've heard about that assembly line story but can't believe it was true - guess it still is.
I hear something in my 2015 as well in what sounds like the door. I have searched in my door pockets a few times just to make sure but nothing. I only hear it occasionally but it's pretty annoying. Guess I'll do some more involved searching.
Is this what I get for all the door bell ditchin' I did as a kid?!
My dealer found the loose bolt. They had to check quite a few things but it ended up being inside the trans shifter i think - re tightened and all good now.
