Hoping this will not be the case with mine. Praying that software flash fixes everything...

If they get to swapping stuff, have them start with the transfer case. It's the only driveline component that was swapped in mine. I said "when" before they could go any further, I'd had enough. Mine only had about 250 miles on it when it started acting up.

That's not good. Don't let anyone tell you it's operating normally. It's not. There is a night and day difference between my new one and the old. After my original dealership threw their hands up they then tried to say it was operating normally?, even the district manager said it was after driving it a whole 10 miles. I told them that it didn't shift hard until after the tranny was well warmed up. Still they wouldn't listen. I finally got FCA to recommend the SRT specialist in my area and had him take a look at it. We didn't even get out of the parking lot before he said "this is not right, this would drive me crazy." Find they guy in your area who knows what the hell he's doing.

I think I read one of your post when I first started noticing that it wasn't normal. I told the dealership I didn't want anything mechanically done. The advisor said the recall covers like 5 solenoids and there was a flash update. I told them to start there bc I didn't want to be separated from my Jeep more than a few days. I also told them to not start any work that they didn't have parts in stock for. I didn't want to re-live your nightmare situation.
I'm glad it all worked out for you. I would've taken that deal also.

At the dealer now getting this done. Hoping this takes care of everything.

Well just got it back and they only confirmed my TCM was up to date . They said their transmission guys were off today and I would have to bring it back tomorrow. WTF... Guess I will report back tomorrow after the transmission guys look at it...

mine does that as well. It's like it disengages and rengages transmission and pushes car forward. Happens on 2nd to 1st downshift

Dealer told me today that the rough 6 to 5 downshifts is normal. Stated it was a performance vehicle and does more going from 6 to 5 than the other shifts and that's why I feel it.... he did do the relearn though so we will see if that helps.

Will be calling SRT to see if they will give me an extended warranty for free on the transmission as a just in case. And will be having dealer document it every time I take it in.

I cannot believe how worthless some dealership service depts are. One dealership I was using for all my past Jeeps, said the same thing to me and to make an appt for them to investigate. I never went back and tried another dealership. I explained to them the same issue and they said, let us do the recall bc it replaces like five solenoids. I said fine and it solved all my shift issues along with a TCM update.
I really hope it works out for you or go somewhere else if that option is available to you. Some places really just don't care bc of poor management or ownership, so the employees usually don't care either.
Good luck to everyone dealing with ongoing issues.

Transmission Issue? Calling all 15 SRT owners

So this is a little different. Yesterday when I was leaving the gym (it's a merge onto a highway from a stop so I normally WOT when clear), I hit the accelerator and the SRT bucked wildly going from what I think was 1-2. It literally felt like I was gonna go thru the windshield, then accelerated normally. Temps were in the 30s but the tranny shouldn't have been that cold since I had just driven there a little more than an hour before.

Anyone experience this? Any ideas? Maybe cold tires (running pirelli scorpion ice and snow) and what I felt was the traction slippage and the systems trying to reduce torque to compensate? It is a 45 degree entry onto the highway. 2015 with under 25k miles.
