Uconnect issues with recall software.

I tried twice to install the software update that ucomnect sent me.... Has anyone had this issue where it say my radio isn't compatible with the update.... Wtf. If my 2015 isn't compatible then there are many more with the same issue. Why send out the memory stick then..

No, it worked. [14 version]
A cheaper memory stick could possibly be found, but they pretty much scraped the bottom of the barrel. I was hoping for a kewl Jeep logo'd real USB stick, but I guess that would have cost another 50 cents or so.

Can you download from UConnect and use a real USB key and burn it from that?

I never received the update in the mail. Are they still trickling out?

Re: Uconnect issues with recall software.

Mine was done the day after it came out and before the mainstream press got ahold of the story. It's updated and shows as complete in Uconnect page. Just yesterday, 9/14, I received a notification of the recall and a chinsy looking stick of some sort. I'm filing the recall notice for my records, but this was done in July and marked off as complete in Uconnect since at least June. We're now in September. Kind of a waste if you ask me.

As mentioned above, you could always to the Uconnect page and download the software from there and give it a shot, or alternatively take it to the dealership.

Re: Uconnect issues with recall software.

I got a second stick for my 15 SRT. The first stick was for my old 14... It worked..

My issue was that it was my old 14... My 15 stick worked fine.. Make sure you put it in right... Try several times and give it a minute to kick in..
