Thumbs down Unbearable noise of the front doors

A few weeks ago, take a trip, and there I found the surprise of unbearable noise of the front doors.
Depending on where the wind comes, the noise came from the right or the left doors.
The noise started from the 100 mph or more.
we traveled over 1000 miles with the noise was unbearable!

I share this short video filmed by my wife, Will hear the deafening sound perfectly : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...%20derecha.avi

I took the truck to service, they sent the same video to the factory, but still did not get any response.

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Thank you very much in advance...

Wow.

That sounded HORRIBLE!

Have you checked the fender flares? I know they can come loose on the SRT models. I'd also check all of the windows along with the engine compartment.

Re: Unbearable noise of the front doors

Never had that problem before....make sure they look at the gap tolerances between doors and frame as well as the seals between the doors and the frame to look for any leaks. this shouldn't be happening.

yeah that is not right. if you want to try and troubleshoot it yourself a little bit one thing you can try is to place a piece of tape the length of the gap between the door and body and see if that stops the noise. Move it around until you find the gap causing the noise. I am not saying leave the tape as a fix but this will let you pinpoint where it is coming from. I did this with a car I had once and was able to isolate where the noise was generated fairly quickly. Good luck that would drive me crazy also.

Re: Unbearable noise of the front doors

Forgot to mention it isn't the speed either. 135 mph on a track, actually still relatively quiet compared to your video.

Re: Unbearable noise of the front doors

It's not unusual for noise that sounds like it is coming from a door, to actually be coming from between the fender and cowl.

It may be that you are right, on the trip I saw something that caught my attention: every time I passed a truck or a bus (two-way route) and had a lot of wind, the cowl was moving more than expected, I will review this in the service.

Thank you very much!

PS: If I go back to the route I'm going to film the movement of cowl
