Behidn grill led lights (15 jeep srt)

Hey guys! I am in need of some help to see whether or not it is possible to install RGB or single color LED lights to illuminate the grill and lower grill sections of my Jeep SRT WK2.

My specific questions is what kind of lights would I need to purchase? Also, would it look decent?

Thanks for the help.

I went with RGB so I can change the color, I also installed demon eye RGB in the projector of the headlights

Do you have part numbers or know of places where I can look up how to install these myself? or did you have someone install them for you?

The truck looks great btw! Nice addition.

Re: Behidn grill led lights (15 jeep srt)

I bought a roll of 16' RGB 5050 and used a WIFI controller to control the colors from my smart phone. You will have to cut the strips and solder your connections at the proper locations on the strip. I also recommend you use a adhesive promoter before applying the strip to the vehicle and inside of the grill. Make sure the RGB strip has all three colors in each smd chip otherwise the colors will look funny when shining in front of the grill. The haedlights are very difficult if you have never opened a headlight before. I used demon eyes from ledconcepts for the headlights. I hope this helped, good luck.

I really don't know why anyone would want to do this to their SRT, but I do know it will make it easier for the cops to find you and impound your vehicle so you can't do any more damage to it. Kinda like thinning out the herd, so to speak. Keep mods like this to the ricers.

Platinum Al must be old as FKKK, custom lighting don't make your vehicle a ricer! In my city we get it in and you will find Lambo's , McLaren & C7 Vettes just to name a few with custom lighting. And when I drop your daughters back to where ever, I will make sure to turn my "cop lights" on so you can try to catch me HAHAHA Loser

Hi are you still looking for strip lighting? We sell alll sizes of solid color and rgb strip lighting. I am about to put green to light up my grill. SO I will know how much wire you need and so to make a plug and play kit.

I agree with ya' Platinum Al! Didn't this mod die out with bell bottoms, platform shoes & the BeeGees? It looks kinda gay, is illegal while driving, and DOES make your ride a 'ricer lookalike! JMHO NoSlipN, so yours may vary!

Not Illegal in my state as long as its not red, blue or green on while driving. BTW I have a million colors to choose from. keep your laws over there. We party and have fun with our bell bottoms over here, lol! And if you don't like it, don't read this thread or respond. I get thumbs up all the time from people! This thread is about custom lights behind the grill. Hemi2 and Al can go play with rocks with your boring style. Step your horsepower up then you can speak!

Re: Behidn grill led lights (15 jeep srt)

Ohhh, ok I get it now. So once I install these lights behind my grille, my horsepower will increase. Makes sense to me. I'll be all good in da hood. I might even kick it up a notch with some hydraulics so I can roll down the street on just 3 wheels. And remember, relax. You seem tense. I am sorry if I caught you at the wrong time of the month. Take a midol and breathe. Everything is gonna be alright. Keep calm and mod on.

Platinum Al, he does seem like a mouthpiece for a homey with only 6 posts! Boring? If you knew my job & the sports I enjoy, boring could never be in the same sentence! But for Noslipnancy, some like the Xmas tree look so all the power to him!
