the rear piece you can just pulloff by hand. Grab it with your fingers just below the jeep and pry it away....working slowly towrds the outside on top and bottom. It just snaps on and has like 5 pieces of 3m tape.

The front chrome rings require a trim removal kit. I taped up around the rings with painters tape and then used my thinnest trim tool. Shove the trim tool between the ring and the bumper at the seam. There are two clips on the side closest to the lower grille and on the bottom of the rings and inch or two from each corner and then a couple inches aprt. Very easy.

I am new to the Jeep i just bought a 2012 srt8 and cant stand the chrome rings can i buy new rings or take off the others to paint them? Thanks

yes...they can be removed or bought new. I get mine from justforjeeps.com Call them at 1888 651 jeep...ask for corey

use the soft plastic trim removal tools and use painters tape around the edges and youll be fine
