Front cowling SRT badge

I have seen a number of owners pictures showing an SRT badge mounted in the left front lower cowling. I do not think this is OE but it looks good and I am wondering where the badge is ordered from and how it is mounted to the grill.

Re: Front cowling SRT badge

I ordered mine off ebay and it was mounted on the grill with epoxy glue. Its on there real good.

This is the one I ordered and that most people are ordering...

Re: Front cowling SRT badge

I used an OEM badge off a challenger SRT. It's larger than that eBay badge and looks better (I've purchased both styles). I do most my posting on the redsite, cherokeesrt, look there. I have a detailed guide for installing.

Re: Front cowling SRT badge

I ordered honeycomb style from ebay and clipped it on without any extra. Seems tight. Time will tell.

Re: Front cowling SRT badge

I did the same as Mongoose. Got my salesman to throw one in when I bought the jeep. It is from the Challenger.

Re: Front cowling SRT badge

I bought one on Ebay also and glued it on my old WK1. Have not tried it yet on the new WK2 but I'm sure it would work.

Re: Front cowling SRT badge

There a few way to put them on. Modeling/Trim tape, epoxy, bolt on. The bolt on option is good, just no easy way to reach a hand behind to put the nuts on. You gotta do some disassembly to get you're hand behind the grill. The WK1 was easy to get a bolt on one without much effort. Many members (on the red site) have reported different methods with success. It's just a matter of how you want yours attached and feel will do the best job. The OEM badge is like a $50 bill there, I don't want it going anywhere

What you have on your bottom grill is the Charger Emblem not Challenger, as the Challenger emblem is a bit smaller that a Charger,i had a Charger Srt and mine was big as that one ,and my friend had a Chally SRT his was smaller...
