Did any one try any of these d3s hid bulbs yet , I wanna swap out the factory 4300k for something with a more whiter look and still maintain the same brightness. 15 wk2 SRT thanks.
I'm curious as well! I've seen reviews on the osram and xtreme vision. Some say these lights have to "warm up" to the white color after so many hours of use, but once they reach that point, they're phenomenal. Please post pictures!
From what I can find:
Osram CBH = ~6000K
Osram CBI = ~5500K
Philips Xtreme Vision = ~4800K
Philips White Vision = ~6000K
All of those are going to appear a bluer white (Xtreme vision is closest to an OEM color). I don't recommend people go above 6000K though. Don't forget that the bulbs will not be this color immediately. They will have some break-in time.
It's going to hurt your ability to see anything. Best to stay between 4000k and 6000k. A cheaply made bulb (which is more than likely what that is) has potential to burn differently and burn the projector bowls. That'll reduce your output even more.
