Leather on Steering Wheel Bubbling

Has anyone had any issues with the perforated-like leather on their steering wheel bubbling/wrinkling up? The area with the "bump" where my right hand grabs at about 2:00 on my wheel has an area under it about 1" x .5" that feels like it has separated (or has a chunk of loose foam or something in it) and can be felt under my hand and is quite annoying. I assume since mine is a 2015 with 2k miles, this should be replaced under warranty if I complain enough? My only worry is that this will get worse over time. Circled below is the general area in question.

Without any hesitation, you need to inform your dealer. Have it documented and keep the invoice. If anything happens down the road, you have something just incase.

Re: Leather on Steering Wheel Bubbling

I stopped by the dealer in town and they said they had seen the same issue on a 2014 in the same spot. They've got me a new wheel ordered and I will take it in to get it replaced as soon as it comes in.
