LED conversion for the WK2 Platform

Hey guys just wanted to share my experience with a company called Deautokey. They've been sponsoring me for over 4 years. Up until I picked up my SRT, they've only catered to European vehicles, specifically VW and Audi. They recently shipped me a vast amount of LED bulbs, pictured below (all are Osram diode German made LEDs, with canbus, error free technology). Resistors are all built in and they are truly plug and play, no harnesses, no adapters, no resistors, no error cancellers, just BULBS! Prior I had tested all that Phillips had to offer and the rear turns/stop as well as the reverse Phillips gave me bulb out errors on my dash. Out of the few dozen setups they provided me for testing I came up with the optimal set for our WK2. Pics below!

Bulbs I tested

After deciding on a optimal Setup, here were my installed results.

Not sure what the bulb type is yet. Also more likely than not, they will need resistors.

Just sent them a message to find out if they have the export version of the turn signal bulbs (amber). I am willing to try these to find out if they really work without resistors.

Should be an H11 bulb.

I have Philips 6000k LED fogs and the kit couldn't have been simpler. All plug and play and it took about 20 minutes to swap both out.

All trims including the SRT are h11?

Did you have to add resistors or were they truly plug and play with no "bulb out errors on your dash".

Can you please provide a link to the actual LED bulb please?

The inner wheel well lining is different between trims. For my wife's 14 overland there's a round rotational cap that comes off to access the fog housing. There's no such cap on the SRT. Seems like plastic rivets need to be removed.

Thanks man!!

Re: LED conversion for the WK2 Platform

KOWSRT, the bulbs look bright! However, I was very nervous after reading their Warranty & Policy. It made my eyes bleed! I think they had a lawyer write that up, to cover every imaginable contingency! And when a company makes you pay both ways for shipping of a defective bulb (to Canada) that is a total rip off! Also, I see no address nor phone number of the business. Another red flag for me! Caveat emptor! I only buys bulbs from a trusted seller ( Xenondepot ) with an excellent track record here on the Forum!
