Looking to put a safe inside of WK2

Anyone have a nice safe (to secure guns or valuables) in your WK2 that you wouldn't mind sharing information for? I'd like to install something to keep my gun and etc safe inside of my car in case of break in. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Verne

Agreed, you need to hide it or you are just asking for someone to break in.

There are a ton of smaller gun safes out there that would probably fit. Just do a search or look at Cabela's or a similar place.

Mongoose9400 is an unknown quantity at this point
There are places that sell center console safes, google them. Else, fab something up in the center console, glove box, spare tire area, etc...

Don't put it under the passenger side front seat, I think the battery access is under there!

There are many safes made for guns and other personal items that you can buy to attach to your car. Personally, unless you are going with the route of building a custom made safe for your WK, I wouldn't bother since other safes can still be removed from the car.

There is a covered cubby under the drivers seat that you could use for stash. Could put a security screw into it to make more secure.
