Question Need input - 22 inch FR on WK2 SRT...

I have a question and need some input from the folks who know.

First of, dropping/lowering the Jeep is out of the question for me, the biggest factor in all of this. There just aren't enough shops over here that will be able to align the Jeep properly, do the install etc. without giving me a hearth attack.

But I really, really want to put on black 22" FRs on the truck.

Now the question. How will this look without a drop, especially the rear? What do you think? Is this a no go, will it look stupid? I also do not want too skinny tires. Are there pictures floating around with such a setup?

All input, views are welcome!

305 35 or 285 40 tires are your only choices. I think 14stormtrooper had his stock suspension on recently for some warranty work. maybe look at his pics or pm him for some pics

Re: Need input - 22 inch FR on WK2 SRT...

I feel you on this one. I even have the RM mid levels from chad, and am scared to let a shop out here in Italy do the drop. I am still debating, but leaning more on the no side for now. Here is the link to my truck, and i have the 22 Fr's on mine. Of course i would love it dropped, but it really doesn't look horrible, and there is now worry of drama or having to leave my truck at a shop for bad allignments.

I am running the Vreds in 305/35/22 and not lowered yet. Sorry don't have the best pics, but you should get the idea of the look. Stormtrooper has the best pics of it with 22's and stock. like Scott said. His pics are what made me think it wasn't going to be so bad and go ahead with the order. here is the link to my ride.

I think it's fine at stock height. I've lowered every vehicle I've owned except the Jeep, I just don't see the point of lowering an SUV it's looks silly to me.

I lowered mine on eibachs,...its like 1" in front and 1.25" in rear or thereabout. That's very little...but takes just a tad of the fender gap...wish I could get 1/2" more in rear

Generally I'm of the same school of thought. That's why I went Eibach. Even next to another SRT it's hard to tell it's lowered sometimes. It's very subtle but enough. I also feel SUVs should have a raked look. They look even more goofy if they're level IMO.

Scott seems to have a freak Eibach kit that I'm jealous of! I'm not even sure if I received the full 1.1" in the rear. At times I've wanted to call Eibach but never got around to it. A true .8 front and 1.4 rear would be perfect IMO. Road magnet mids aren't bad but are too level for my opinion.
