Remember that powder coat is generally super durable. I powder coated some brake drums once and beat the holy hell out of them with a hammer and it never chipped.

Can powder coating be done in gloss or do you have to clear coat it afterwards.

Thanks, I had the wheels, rear lights, front lights and exhaust painted. Trim is wrapped, and truck lower lowered. Black lugs and rear window wiper removed. Top rails also painted same color as truck. I also designed the exhaust to mate with the bola atak. It sound better than anything out their in my opinion and it is way quicker than it was before.

There are a ton of different powder coat finishes and colors. I would bet there is a place near you that does it. If you talk to the people doing it they can usually show you samples of the finishes. They have gloss as well. You do not have to clear coat them.
