Red vapor interior

Anyone know if jeep is planning to offer more interior choices on the red vapor edition?

Really like everything about it but the interior while nice just isn't for me I like plain old boring black or brown

Re: Red vapor interior

Wont happen. The Red Vapour was a limited edition model (750 units) and no longer available to order.

Re: Red vapor interior

For what it's worth, red is one of my least favorite colors but I went ahead and got a Red Vapor after my first regular SRT was bought back by FCA for tranny issues.

I love the interior, it's the only way to have black Laguna in any capacity at the moment, although you get the red Alcantara inserts too. It's a totally unique interior and there's only 750 of them which is pretty neat. Granted this may make replacement parts in the future a little tough to come by (like the illuminated airbag which was only produced for this model).

Re: Red vapor interior

I'm confused - why is the Red Vapor package still shown as available on the SRT order page if it was limited to only 750 units? Jeep - Build & Price - Select Model

The site isn't really updated. Trust me I couldn't even order one 5 months ago I had to get one shipped in from out of state.

Just some food for thought:

I have a 2015 Red Vapor since new, with almost 30k miles on it, and sometimes I just go for a drive for fun, because that's exactly what it is - fun. Am I crazy about the paint, interior and mechanicals being perfect, yes, but if I find a little scratch or some rock chips I laugh it off and say to myself "It's just a car."

You don't ruin a car by driving it - you buy a car to enjoy it, it doesn't matter if you put on 50k miles in the first year if every mile puts a smile on your face. Life is short, we're talking about an $75k SUV, but I would feel the same way about a $1.5 million Bugatti Veyron - ENJOY!

If you're looking for an investment, buy real estate. Cars are for driving. Period. If I've got low miles on a car it means I'm bored of it and it is soon to be traded for something that brings me more joy.

Just a different perspective.

Re: Red vapor interior

You guys are exactly correct, but nonetheless, i still cringe when I look at my odometer. I don't quite regret the miles I put on, but it would be more comforting if I only used say 10k to 15k a year.

What exactly is it that makes you cringe about high odometer readings?

You need some car counseling :-)

I'm cheap, don't like spending money. Don't want more bills.

Everyone has different priorities - I grew up with a passion and fascination for fast & fine cars, so when it comes to budgeting (if I had to budget), it would be less meals out and less shopping.

The only cure for you is to get behind the wheel of something special and drive the heck out of it - either you'll fall in love or you'll decide that being cheap is more important than having a blast every single time you leave your house, whether on your way to work or just cruising.
