Sure, it's about the chime which doesn't sound when the seatbelt is on.

Sorry about being an ass on this but a good friend was tossed out a window years ago because he wasn't wearing his belt, his only reason, he wasn't going that far. He hasn't walked since.

I'll just back off and stop posting, sorry again.

Get in car
Fasten seatbelt
Start the accessories, don't start the engine
Wait for the seatbelt light to go off
within I think 60 sec unclick and re click sea belt 3 times
Leave the seat belt clicked in after 3rd time
Turn off accessories and you will hear a single chime

You have completed the operation....no more seat belt chime...

As for you folks talking about the law... U have to be kidding me...u have an srt8... Do you actually drive the speed limit? Seat belt laws should be deemed unconstitutional... The only person I can hurt is me....and the government has no business protecting me from me.... But I digress... Enjoy

Sort of like the helmet laws. Who do I hurt by not wearing a helmet?
Sorry...Back on topic!

Just go to any junk yard and ask them to give you a seat belt buckle clip and fix it in the slot.

Me, when I literally have to scrape your brain off 100m of bitumen. That shit sticks with you. At least with a helmet the mess is contained.

Re: Seat belt chime disable - WK2 SRT8

works on the 2014 overland! tried it yesterday.

the only correction from above is that you have to do the following:

1) get into the car
2) before turning anything on, buckle up.
3) put the car in run mode (meaning press the on/off button twice. once to put it into ACC mode, then second time to put it into run mode where the car performs all its checks. do not keep you foot on the break, as that will obviously turn the car on)
4) after having placed the car in RUN mode, wait until the little red seatbelt symbol disappears, after the car had run through its checks.
5) after the symbol has disappeared, unbuckle and buckle 3 times. make sure to end the 3rd unbuckling with being buckled up.
6) after having performed the unbuckling procedure 3 times, press the on/off button again to turn the car off. (remember, you have never actually started the engine yet).
7) after having pressed the on/of button, you should hear a single "chime". that means the seat belt chine is gone! next time you start the car, there will no longer be any seatbelt sounds.

however, the unbuckled warning will still appear in the cluster every time you start driving from a stand still, but it disappears within seconds. more importantly, there is no more that annoying chime!!!!

hope it helps.
