Shaved rear brow, changed colored stitching.

Was a bitch, but I shaved and filled my chrome rear brow! Goes for paint in the next day or so. Cut the letters out, backed with aluminum tape, then did a few layers of evercoat with sanding in between. It sucked, but the end result looks worth it so far. Can't wait till its brilliant black!!

Also changed my white stitching to red, love the look. Just pulled the side pillars down and painted black, and my headliner is going in for black reupholstering next week. I can't stand that it's beige.

That's just a paint marker...

Re: Shaved rear brow, changed colored stitching.

you can buy dye markers at like walmart that last better than that and wont make a mess if you aren't perfect...just wipe up the residue. Ive been thinking of doing this myself. Did it on my wifes durangos console lid. the seats were custom leather/suede with blue stitching...but they didn't do the console lid....so dyed it blue

Looks good, cant wait to see the rear brow shaved. I was thinking about doing mine like this but I went ahead and painted the brow as is, I really like the subtile JEEP logo painted. The shaved brow will look more like the 14+ models... Not a bad thing at all
