Yesterday I tackled the window surrounds chrome. I used a really nice 3m 1080 scotchprint vinyl in gloss black. Looks almost black chrome.....

Looks really good Scott.
How long did it take you and how much did the supplies cost? I'd like to do this to my Jeep during the summer.

^^^What they said. How was the rear window? Were you able to bend it around the curve in the corner or did you just cut and use multiple peices?

I bought a 84"x60 inch roll and 2 squeegys...one felt covered. Then I just cut one size for the front and rear windows and laid it on. Then trimmed. Its SUPER easy with this vinyl. It was awesome to work with. Took me and a buddy about 4-5 hours total....with BS time in between...lol. The worst part is the trimming.

Advice on how to get the wrap around the chrome behind the side view mirrors?

the front and rear windows are cut from one piece. The mirrors dont have to be removed....they sit kinda inside the chrome

Looks great and I've used that vinyl from same vendor for the interior trim pieces on my old BMW. Pretty easy to work with if you take your time.
Curious if the gloss black or matte black would look better on Brilliant Black?
