New Member 1st post hey fellas

I have decided to take up vinyl wrapping and Plastic dipping due to the outrageous prices in New York.

I will upload pics of my progress as I am learning.

Feel free to upload your wrapping and dipping as well

First attempt is on my Key Fob. Came out ok for a first timer wanted to get an idea of how i could stretch the vinyl without it ripping. Only real problem i had was cutting in small areas. Its hard to cut a rounded edge with a straight blade:eek:

Decided to get up early and attack this wack ass chrome trim:D

2 coats flat black 2 coats glossifier

One of the edges pulled up on me and i tried to cover spray it but of course that didn't work so i will have to do that piece all over again but i will wait to see how long it takes to harden and how it stands up to the elements first.

Plasti dipping works great, I did my truck about two years ago and haven't had an issue with the badges. I only hand wash, not sure if you used car washes if it would come off or not?

Still haven't convinced my wife to let me try it on her jeep.

I also vinyl wrapped my rear bumper, still holding up.

Looking forward to seeing your completed jeep so I can show the wife to maybe convince her.

I hand wash also but i have seen video of plasti dip through car washes and it does not come off. Took all the badges off except the back jeep one only because i think there are post holes under it. Don't know if anyone has removed it but i will do something with it soon

Hdrolling luv that color!
