Re: You have a new SRT and $4000 to start modding:

I like this scenario!

- De-badge
- Black rear Jeep emblem
- Gloss Black grille rings and lower brake ducts
- BT Catch Can
- Tint (15% over stock) / Clear bra (I have only done my headlights and rear fenders)
- EXHAUST! Stock is sounds like it has 200hp, not almost 500hp. First I chopped the resonators off, and while that helped, it still left more to be desired. So replaced with will a Corsa full cat-back with Black tips. All I have to say is WOW! If you want loud all the time, this is not the exhaust for you...go with the Borla ATAK or GT Haus if that is what you want. But the Corsa is PERFECT for my needs
- Replacement brake pads; I went with Thermoquiets and they reduced the brake dust TREMENDOUSLY
- LED interior and exterior (reverse, fogs)

All of the above could be done for under $2500!! Then you have $1500 more to "play" with.

Keep us posted on what you decide to do

FYI - With the above exhaust and my aFe intake, I just ran a 3.9 0-60! Personally, I do not need to be going any faster than that in my daily driver! HAHA

Did the exhaust and catch can. Blacked out rear fogs, and have tint all around. Clear bra for the whole front soon, and this summer headers, cam, straight pipes, and a tuner. The $4000 was just to start. Thought about a supercharger but instead will put that $10k down for a Trackhawk in a few years. Love this Jeep and love making it faster and stand out.

What exhaust did you go with? Nice choice in mods...I love not seeing myself drive down the road (i.e. unique SRT; WK2). It is a great form of expression and I can say that mine does not look exactly like any other SRT.

GL with your future mods...sounds like you will be having even MORE fun

Borla atak ceramic coated and then remove main muffler and replace with xpipe. Sounds so mean.

Putting a bra on your SRT screams insecure douche bag in my humble opinion, unless of course you are a douche bag, then cheers. For $4k you can do a lot as far a performance mods and general upgrades. I've spent that much on my 2014 Black Vapor SRT by adding OBX longtube headers, high flow cats, X-pipe, Injen cold air intake, 180 degree thermostat, 87mm throttle body, Diablo tuner (Hemifever custom tunes), blacked out tint, all weather floor and cargo mats. I found the tuner to make the biggest difference in performance though. You can see by the track slip photo that my times are significantly better than the stock SRT, but nothing is ever enough and I'm always looking to make it that much better. You can't see a clear bra. You do realize the difference right? It protects the paint but you can't tell it's even on there.

I'm not going with a CAI yet until I get the Bwoody long tube. Short ram CAI's still gulp hot air. Even wrapping the pipe won't change the air going into the filer which is still hot.

Kooks headers, pipes, cam, and tuner coming up this summer when I'm on vacation. So far just the Borla ATAK and catch can have dropped me to 4.1 0-60. Believe it or not, keeping that oil from blasting back into your intake will do wonders I the short and long term.
