That might be, but I guarantee you it's not stock. Anything in the 3's that weighs over 5,000 has forced induction.

I started doing some reading today where if you put it in track and launch it without using the launch control button, you could get better 0-60 times. Of course I had to go try it out. Using launch control you launch at 1800rpms... Without launch control you can launch at 3000rpms. It did drop me down from 4.2 to 4.1... I did it twice with both being 4.1 and I felt I didn't keep the wheels 100% straight the whole time. My apologies man, it looks like I could've been wrong on this one.

This is actually a great answer to me. What other practical things would you knock out (I didnt do this on my first Beemer & have done it ever since, but am new to the Jeep world).

I know this thread was a little while back and you've probably already spent what you had allotted for upgrades, but I would suggest upgrading your rotors to the slotted rotors and getting better brake pads. I recently had to replace all rotors and pads at just 20k miles... Then again I drive my SRT the way it was designed to be driven lol.

I went with the EBC slotted rotors and EBC "yellow stuff" brake pads. The rotors are very good, but the pads squeal so incredibly loud for some reason. I might have just gotten a defective set, but EBC is sending me another set thankfully.

The EBC "yellow stuff" aren't ceramic pads, instead they contain aramid fibers. EBC "red stuff" pads are the ceramic pads.

But yes... I WISH I had just stayed with the Brembo pads and will likely order them soon... They are certainly more cost effective than the EBC pads.

Re: You have a new SRT and $4000 to start modding:

To answer the OP question.
I just purchased the trinity, afe intake, headers, and catback. With the rm mid springs all in, im at about $3600. With installation of headers and catback around $4300.

Only other things i may add are throttlebody and tstat. Maybe cams but i might sell the car before i get there.

Enjoy.
