730N head unit issue

Hi, I'm having an issue with the 730N head unit in my 2012 SRT8. As I never listen to the radio, I have about 40 CD's on the HDD, which is about 2050 song tracks. When I set the mode to 'By Album', the unit lists all the songs, not the individual albums, so the display says track 1 of 2050 instead of say, 1 of 18, which would be 18 tracks on the album, and the next album would say track 1 of 12, and so on. This is how my 430N works on my 2012 JGC Limited. In the pictures it shows track 1 of 36, Because I only had 2 cd's loaded at the time which totaled 36 tracks, so it should show track 1 of 18. Also on the right side of the screen, it should just show the tracks on the first album its playing, not as it says 'All Songs' which contradicts the 'By Album' on the left hand side. I was wondering if any body else with a 730N could see if there unit does the same thing. I've just updated the unit to 2.600 (Big thks to 'SOX' for that).
Thanks.

730N head unit issue

I would bet that what the head unit looks for as far as "album" isn't there so it defaults. There are so many variables to how you brought over your music, but I would try to get some tagging software and try to edit the information on a computer.

I would imagine you could edit the information on your 730, but typing on that screen has its limitations...

You could blame the dealer and try to have them fix it.
