Yep, it's kind of obscene when you can buy a complete GPS with MP3, traffic and lifetime maps for the price of one in dash upgrade.

Re: Anyone receive an update DVD for their NAV?

I received mine yesterday. Took a long time to upload and had a couple instances where it looked like everything was frozen and I couldn't get the disc out and none of the buttons would work. I think it was because i didn't do the upload all in one sitting but it was running in the background even though touchscreen was frozen and not showing the progress. Everything is fine now, but had to turn engine on and off several times to make sure it was still recognizing the disc.

Same thing just happened to me. Except it has been frozen for 3 hours. Not sure what to do. I called the dealer and they had no clue what to do so they said to disconnect the battery. I did that and its still frozen... Any ideas?

Re: Anyone receive an update DVD for their NAV?

I would shut off the engine wait five seconds and turn it back on. Do this multiple times until it becomes unfrozen and recognizes the disc. Once it recognizes the disc, don't turn it off again. Took less than an hour once up and running.

Re: Anyone receive an update DVD for their NAV?

Had the same freezing situation on mine as well. Waiting and turning the engine on didn't help. I had to reset the radio. I turned the car completely and held in the power button on the radio until I heard it turn completely off (you'll hear it go completely silent).

Then only press start button once without turning engine on (so don't put foot on the brake). Radio should come on then with it resuming the download. Don't actually crank the car's engine (somehow this kept messing mine up and freezing). Finally got it loaded while sitting in it for about an hour...

Re: Anyone receive an update DVD for their NAV?

I received the disk and ran the update. Jeep kept shutting off and I had to restart it a few times
