Does the RHR have dedicated iPod Cable?

My 2009 RER had a dedicated iPod cable in the glove-box. My 2011 Overland had an RHB and had no such cable. wondering if the 2012 SRT8 will have this dedicated iPod cable on the RHR? anyone?

Re: Does the RHR have dedicated iPod Cable?

My current RHR doesn't have a cable, only the center arm rest port.

Re: Does the RHR have dedicated iPod Cable?

All WK2 radios going forward (430N, 730N) use a common USB connection port in the center armrest so no, there is no dedicated iPod cable. The old 730N with the dedicated cable is gone.

Re: Does the RHR have dedicated iPod Cable?

that sucks... The USB in the arm rest is sketchy... I love to use my iPod and its always crackling and having a bitch of a time connecting quickly. My older RER was great! Loved the dedicated iPod hookin.

I feel like they effed up a bunch of stuff with the center console USB port.

Major gripes:

#1 doesnt retain random song setting when you shut car off.
#2 doesnt retain song info setting when you shut car off. Reverts back to picture view.
#3 iPod restarts the song you were on last or just goes to song one after shutting car off.

On the RER all these settings saved fine, and the iPod picked up where it left off. Hope the RHR on the new rig is better.
