I made the new upper baffle with added air space. Made a big difference even though the RTA does not really reflect it. Once I expand the lower section I think It will be the sweet spot. The added airspace makes things much more efficient and by adding about 1.25 cubic foot I gained a free 3db average at about 35hz and below (which was the goal). I have a couple spots that stayed the same and above roughly 37hz I lost some db but I dont care because my 8 inch midbasses pick up the slack.
So if I am counting correctly, my enclosure is at 4.25 cubic feet right now. Almost to my goal of 5.75 cubic foot sealed.
