Re: Radar detector advice

IMO Valentine One is still the best. Provides all direction coverage.

Re: Radar detector advice

valentine or escort redline are at the top of the tree and most effective.

What about the newish low k band multaradar cd frequency? It's been adopted by those vehicles parked on the side of road taking pics... I heard its very hard to detect.

Is there one detector over the other that is better for low k band multaradar cd?

Re: Radar detector advice

Went to Radartest.com and they don't mention the Valentine One which I think is the best one going for the money. I've used one for years and you just can't beat knowing what direction the signal is coming from. Just my $.02 worth.

Re: Radar detector advice

Huge fan of the AL laser jammer. Have it waiting to be installed along with my 9500ci. Rather have a ton of extra protection so I can prevent getting a ticket as best as possible (esp with the SRT) so it is worth paying top dollar.

Heres a great video explaining the difference between all the jammer systems, pretty much agree with everything the guy states about the AL and Escort systems (and why I upgraded to the AL Priority from the 9500ci).

Re: Radar detector advice

Valentine V1 and blend mount under the mirror, power off the mirror is great no cables great mod

I tried redline V1 and passport max v1 is the best for distance and direction Only problem damn New Audi caddys and buicks must have a K band for their speed control goes off like crazy

Following a new escalade last week the k band was maxed out till i passed it That needs a fix
