Replacing HK system?

Has anyone replaced the HK system? If so, what did you use to sum the channels and get a full range signal for an amp?
I have a couple JL amps, stealthbox, and Focals that I'm thinking of putting in but not sure the best way to integrate into the stock system.
JL cleansweep and JL summing deal (SSI I think)
Rockford 3sixty
something else?

Too many mods to list for each, so let's just say a lot was done over the years.

Thanks, I read through your thread and wish it was that easy, unfortunately I can't get rid of the stock headunit, I have to find a way to sum the channels and get a relatively flat full range signal.
Plus, the '15s have that active noise cancellation deal so I have to disconnect the microphones in the headliner too. Way too much sh!t in these things now. LOL
My WK1 was SO much easier to put the system in.

Completely understand where you are coming from and the limitations you are facing. 1stJeepGC uses a similar setup as you are looking at/for and he would be able to guide you in a setup that would be ideal and to your liking.

Re: Replacing HK system?

If you disconnect the mics in the headliner, you will end up with shitty audio in your UConnect. You will not have the issue, the people on the other end of the call will hear lots of noise and low volume. Also, the signal between the head unit and the amp is digital. I don't think you can eliminate the amp. I added a hi-lo adapter for my JL AMP and Stealth box. It sounds fantastic too.
