Re: SD Card

I could understand if this was one of the multi-page, thousand post threads, but there were only 12 posts prior to your question. Two of those posts contain the answer to your question already.

Re: SD Card

Like may others I had issues with the 8.4AN in my MY15 JGC Overland and reading the SD Card. I went with a PNY 32GB Class 10 SDHC card preformatted with FAT32.

At first it worked fine until I started see the 'Insert Card' message and then when skipping between tracks the 'Browse' functionality stopped working. The only solution was to take pop the card out then back in again. Everywhere I'd read suggested that a 32GB card and in a FAT32 format should work fine so I wrote an email to UCONNECT, here is the response I received

"The media center is not designed to be compatible with a media device 32 GB or larger. Therefore, we are unable to guarantee that your media center would be able to read a SD card of that size. We recommend using
a device smaller than 32 GB."

This is not the case! While waiting for UCONNECT to respond I thought I'd try and reformat the card to NTFS and bingo it works as it's supposed to. It's been over a week and no issues so far.
