Will any of these work with an IPhone 6 plus for video out and mirroring.

Yes but keep in mind, if using the wired version (AVICH-03) you will have to get an Apple adapter. The HDMI converter enables mirroring of even the apps that Apple has blocked over the Wi-Fi version (e.g. Youtube & Netflix etc.).

Excellent. I've been waiting for something like this. This way I can watch YouTube, Netflix and surf the Internet while in the SRT. Could you post some pics and video of this in action. Thanks.

Re: Video in Motion

The only video I found is of the Toyota version but functionality is similar for the AVICH-03 :

For $99 you can buy an AppleTV box, which has an HDMI port. Apple TV has Netflix, and a ton of other great sports and movie channel apps, plus you can also stream (and mirror) from your iPhone to the Apple TV.

Totally worth it for a very cool setup...

And how will you connect the Apple TV box to the Vehicle? There is no video port to connect to in the Grand Cherokee.
Besides that, how will you unlock the Uconnect screen for video while in motion ?

FYI- The AVICH-03 can mirror all apps from iPhone (including Netflix and Youtube) because it includes an HDMI converter cable.

You would still need something like the Avich for the HDMI port, but the advantage of AppleTV is two-fold:

1. You're not tying up your iPhone to stream from, which allows you to continue to use your phone without interrupting whatever you are streaming.

2. My understanding is that apple has disabled AirPlay from the iPhone media player when it comes to devices like the Avich - you can stream/mirror from Netflix and other media player apps, the maps program, etc, but actual video stores on the iPhone itself will not stream to non-apple devices such as the Avich.

Re: Video in Motion

There is apparently a confusion here between the WVICH-03 and the AVICH-03.
Apple can only block certain apps on the WVICH-03 - true because it functions on Wi-Fi mode.
Whereas, the AVICH-03 remains unrestricted for mirroring all apps (including Netflix & Youtube) due to the built-in HDMI converter within it. The AVICH-03 cannot be blocked by Apple.

Re: Video in Motion

Additionally, all stored video on iPhone can be streamed/mirrored (unrestricted by Apple) via both devices, i.e. AVIC-03 and WVICH-03
