Re: 2013 Alpine Edition build thread

Looks amazing man!!! How did the alignment work out??? Did the offset of those rims throw it out of whack even more than normal? I'm really considering the same set up!

Re: 2013 Alpine Edition build thread

haven't got the alignment right yet. I had a buddy do it real quick at a local tire place he didn't really know what he was doing was more so we could play with the Black Ops rear control arms. The rear is dialed in pretty good the front has too much negative camber. taking it to the dealer on Friday.

Had to do some minor inner fender trimming last nigth as I was getting some rubbing on large dips on the highways. but that was easy enough and it allowed me to finally fix the fender flair things that were falling off.

I'd love to know how it goes... I don't mind trimming the fenders if it's nothing crazy. But I can't deal with the alignment being that off... Definitely good idea getting the rear control arms. Again man it looks soooo good. That stance is great.

I'm thinking of getting the RM medium drop + concavo 10.5 + Nitto 280/40R22 but i'm afraid that something would rub here or there

Re: 2013 Alpine Edition build thread

vreds 305/35s. the rubbing wasn't bad and was probably from lugging my @ss around. I'm a huge guy. Some quick work with an air saw solved everything I only did the drivers side still might do the passenger side.

rubbing like I had isn't a big deal. if it's not rubbing you didn't go aggressive enough or low enough, has always been my thought process.

Was the rubbing in the front or back? Or both....

Re: 2013 Alpine Edition build thread

just the front drives side. and ONLY on huge shitty highway expansions. it's probably my weight on that side of the car, again i'm a huge guy 6'8" easy 330. it really was minor in 1 week I drove about 800 miles and probably heard it 2 or 3 times. I just needed it fixed I drive a couple of cross country rallies over the summer i need to make sure things are good for very long distances over very questionable roads.
