Re: Matte Red WK2

Hey coming from the WK side, your the first person I have seen that has blacked out literally everything in the headlight (which looks mighty awesome). Now the question is, with everything blacked out inside, is there a light difference from the headlights, or do they shine just as bright?

thank you, and the light output hasnt change because they are projectors. However the halogen light that sit next to the projector has been removed, because it acts as a DRL but we have the LEDs in the bumper for that.

Removing that halogen bulb next to the projector doesn't throw any codes correct? I had the same idea of just getting rid of that one...

two ways you can go about tackling this job. either you can cut the lens or bake the whole headlight to pull it apart. the key is just to properly seal it back up once you are done.

Re: Matte Red WK2

Did you also remove the orange reflectors from the corners of your headlights?
Or did you paint those as well
