Thanks for the tips. Fortunately I have everything tightened down and not going anywhere for all but the overflow cap. I'll look into your suggestions and see if I can get something going.

I'm already looking at finishing the rest of the underhood pieces after seeing then on yours.

Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Haven't posted in a while, and although I don't have any updates to the Jeep since my last, I did have a small project completed for me by a member of instagram. Here is the picture I used for the project:

And here is the finished product:

Picture size is 16"x22"and the quality is amazing. As is normal, pictures don't do his work any justice, but trust me, it's awesome! If anyone is interested in doing a project like this and wants to check out his work, you can find him on instagram @realisticcardrawings

Re: Mike's, I can't help but copy Scottina06 build thread..:-)

Decided the engine could use a bit more bling, so I snatched up some titanium bolts, aluminum washers and aluminum strut spikes from West Coast Fasteners (see business card in pic). Hopefully this nasty wet Austrian winter will be over soon so I can put these in on a nice spring day.

Bolts and washers for the Coil Packs, Valve Covers, Throttle Body and Water Pump.

Another mini project I have been patiently waiting to do is the replacement of all interior bulbs with LEDs. Heard a few good things about PrecisionLED so I purchased their entire kit, to include rear plate lights. They even sent over some nice trim removal tools, which should come in handy.

Just hope I don't lose one of these expensive titanium bolts down in the engine bay...

Where do you have your work done or do you do it all yourself? I've been looking for a good shop to take mine to and High Tech Truck is the only place I found with good reviews. I live in Fairfax, but I work in Sterling. I swear you blew past my old WK2 on the entrance ramp to 28 from Waxpool Rd. That image of a red SRT flying by me has never left my mind and another reason why I don't have that WK2 anymore.

SRTNinja,

Starting to make me wonder if that was me who blew by you??? Of course that had to have been more than a year ago, since the family and I (and Jeep) have moved to Austria for a few years.

As far as getting her worked on, I've always had good luck at PBC Automotive (Chantilly) with both the Jeep and my old sports car (Mazda RX-7). Its the type of place that allows you to join them in the shop area and do the work along side of them. When they installed my GT Haus exhaust, I was able to assist the tech, and also rotate my own wheels with the use of their air tools. Christian (owner) also lowered the cost of labor since I was there to help.

I'm not saying they'll let you do this from day one, but once you build a rapport maybe they'll do the same for you. Anyway, might be worth a look-see.

Mike
