Re: My Billet Silver 2014 GC SRT Build Thread

quick update, installed a tow hitch SRT cover from justforjeeps.com (its not under the SRT section, its under the WK2 section) and its a perfect fit, you take the two spring loaded bolts from the old one and put them in the new one (took me a while to realise that)

also first service at 5000 KM done today, oil and oil filter change,

Re: My Billet Silver 2014 GC SRT Build Thread

Got the car back, below are a few crappy cell phone pics, I will wash her up and take some proper pics ASAP, the car needs a wheel alignment really bad, but I'm going to wait a few days for them to settle, and I have a tc low light on the dash (not the TC off) I'll go back to the dealership sunday and see whats that about

the ride quality from what I can tell so far is exactly the same, the cat eyes and the reduce speed bumpy things on the road feel exactly the same, I went through the same street twice, once in Auto and once in Track mode, and you would not even know I had a stiffer spring set up

wheels pointing forward, steering wheel has other ideas

DAMNNNNNNN FIRE BRO. LOOKS Grrreeeaaattttttt (Tony the Tiger Voice).. Question you still have the 285/40's or you went 35's? Looks like you have space, can you turn the wheel all the way with no rub? Gonna do the same drop and want to make sure 305/40's wont rub. Thanks

they really did get it right, I'm really loving the drop, I kept reading how it doesn't affect ride quality, but until I had it done and drove it for the first time did it really sink in, it really doesn't affect ride quality and the car seems more planted on the road

Thank you, I still have the 284/40/22's on and no tire rub at all from lock to lock and driving around
