Re: New Road and Track spy photos

It just dawned on me. It has to 100% NOT be the wheel that will come on ANY SRT8.

Every SRT wheel has had SRT stamped into the wheel. These might be production wheels, perhaps an option available later or maybe introduced in MY 2013, but they are NOT SRT wheels.

Zoom in on the pic and you won't find the SRT or Forged ALCOA on the wheel.

Re: New Road and Track spy photos

That is a good point about the srt logo, however, I don't see them making a brand new rim for test wheels, especially this close to the reveal. The mule before utilized the older srt8 wheels which is a good sign for those that don't like these. These are different and more importantly are mounted with the production 295/45 pirellis. I still side with production, but hey, 2 more weeks and we will all find out.

Lets hope one of these blogs breaks the embargo before and posts up the press shots. Either way, I am looking forward to your live pics.

Ditch the rest of the chrome and its gold I actually think the wheels are meh but they shouldn't have split the spokes so wide.

5.7Unlimited is just really nice
Re: New Road and Track spy photos

The vehicle in these picture is nothing like the production SRT8 GC, it will be entirely different.

Re: New Road and Track spy photos

Looking at the pics, it looks like the exhaust is incorporated into the rear diffuser similar to the new charger srt8. This will actually make doing a center exhaust somewhat simple for the aftermarket. Basically, include 2 bent pipes to attach near the rear wheels of the exhaust and a new diffuser with only a center opening. Maybe someone will do it for SEMA!

Re: New Road and Track spy photos

Those rims would be knuckle busters to clean. Did you see that even the split spokes are SPLIT?

I think you should be the one clarifying this...

2 damn weeks from tomorrow.

I think I can get more information on Obama's birth certificate than the details of what the front will look like.

The advance information I have shows different wheels, wheels that at one time appeared on a Challenger. Let me see if I can dig up a wheel pic and I'll post it.
