Today I got a few goodies in the mail:
Injen Powerflo Intake
Only took about 30 minutes to install the intake. I ordered the polished because I wanted an intake for the tune/dyno sesh tomorrow, and it was available for Prime overnight shipping on Amazon. I have a wrinkle black version on the way to replace the chrome one
Impressions of intake: Sounds super nice. Definitely has a much louder growl on the gas, very happy with the sound. I would say the pedal feels more responsive as well. Whether gas mileage is better, only time will tell. Power wise, I haven't noticed any significant gain, but 5-10whp won't be felt in the seat of the pants regardless.
The inTune took about 1.5 hours to do all the updates, and configure the PCM, etc. Finally got it to work, and sent over my stock file to Johan (diablotoona) for a tune.
Should have the tune in first thing tomorrow morning, and then I have a dyno appointment at 9am. Can't wait to see what it puts down!
After installing the intake and downloading my stock tune file to send over to Johan, I installed the CLSTech DRL Activation Kit.
WOW is that kit bright! Almost too bright, I hope it doesn't blind anyone! Pictures to come of that.
I also installed SRT badges on the driver and passenger door, same way 14StormTrooper has them. I will be plastidipping all of the SRT badges and rear Jeep badge black this weekend.
Will update with videos and dyno results tomorrow!
