I've been watching Black Ops cf parts. I'd really like a cf hood before I do more cf. I'm debating buying the shaved logo cf, cf step, and cf grill all at once. Install all those and take the jeep to have the tail lights blacked out and the rims too. This was a cheap way to get the look and decide if I like it. I go through spurts with my mod money. I'll give it a month or two. I like to alternate between saving money before I spend it on mods. I think I've done enough for now. Time to pay myself again
a very smooth look all over now, with just the right subtle hints of red & chrome. very tastefully done so far!
to all those who scream "that's how it should come from the factory", i say the factory look is fine as it is. the stock factory look gives everyone the motivation to mod as they want, to make it look as they want and remove/change what they want. If stock/factory look was this way with all chromes removed, all de-badged, all CF wrapped, then everyone's ride would again look the same!
Paid $100 to have it all done. It's wrapped without removing the parts. I could actually do it myself if I had the same vinyl they used. Very easy stuff to work with while I watched them.
How does the new exhaust sound? I'm waiting for someone to come out with one and it's just taking too long and I considered doing what you did. Can you post a sound clip or video. Thanks
Post 62 in this link IIRC has videos. I have some private vids on the red site I made specially for a Vendor in exchange for merchandise. Those are not here. http://www.jeepgarage.org/showthread.php?t=44098
Carbon fiber & black out on the window look great!! Really makes your ride look complete. Im not sure you could do anything else to make it look better. Im sure you'll come up with something.
Looks Great! Was it just the chrome trim around the windows that were vinyl wrapped, or were there other parts too? What brand and /or type of vinyl was used?
