LOl I see.
Well for what it's worth IMO the tune loaded in the programers are safe as that is a smart thing to do on any company's part who offers engine tuning, fuel and spark management changes away from OEM specs. Call it Generic may be but they are the standard in the Hemi World today.

As far as the theory that you can't get any better than B&G because of their working partners and history I just have to say that in 5 years of being in this market I don't know of may people (If any) using them as their are wayyyy better tunners such as Johan,Jersey Boy and Hemitunner just to name a few. With all of the Gen 1 B&G PCM/TCH's being used as doorstops and paperweights years later not reflashed and continued use because they are the best option ya know what I mean?

If you are planning to heavily modify your SRT down the road then yes, this will become obsolete, just like the stock program that's in the truck now. Of course If you are planing mods down the road then wait for either a hand held tuner (just as worthless without a custom tune) or a local shop who can retune the PCM, that's just a given.

I do believe that the B&G tune is more comprehensive than any of the canned Diablo style plugin tunes will ever be for an unmodified / lightly modified vehicle. That's my belief, you are welcome to yours.....

Re: 2012 jEEP srt8 Flashed ECU WOW!!

Just called B&G and he's a couple weeks out on finishing the flash for the 5.7L Hemi. Said pricing will be around $500 for just the flash.

He's being saying that to me for the last three months lol lol. He explained that there is no demand for it out there. Either way, I'll wait for the handheld tuner. To each his own!!!

It is my opinion that a good tuner will not remove all the torque management
unless he checks to see if you have the right modified tranny
that will take all the beating. His rep is really on the line just my 2 cents. In diesel it works that way. check with Lyndon westers at westers

Tuning has come a long way since 07 to now, The company that made my tune doesn't exist anymore and this happened over 3 yrs. ago and many mods ago but thanks for your $.02. Just don't think that you can't break your trans if you are basically stock, it happens.

hey man if you mod ur engine heavy then your tranny will break
sooner than later today not in 2007, if you remove all torque
management. I dont like the TM but you could be ok with 100 to 200 increase in HP with stock tranny or even ad a good tq converter. it is ur tranny. moding my 13 srt8 GC now as we speak hennesey cai, borla
atak, and 180 stat. tune will come soon to control the fans for stat.
but i will leave enough tm to eliminate that little bog. lh

Honestly that's all many much us really want. Is enough tq removed to get rid of that bogging off the line

I agree 100% just a little more snapp to get rid of
that bog eliminate top speed limiter & mds & a few more rpms.
that should do the trick for most of us. They are fast
enough just a bit of tweaking !!. lh
