You have 2 options on purchasing, you can send your PCM in directly to B&G and have it Done, Or like I did you can get ahold of Red Barron on the Challengertalk Fourm and he can set you up with a spare unit which is plug and play, As far as price you should contact either one I am not sure about any special pricing that might be going on and I don't want to give the wrong amount. But I can tell you it was worth every penny, The jeep drives flawlesly. THX

good deal

dave has been doing this a long time; i'm sure it's a great deal regardless of the cost!

hey KM its nice to NOT NEED to have your post PROOF READ and < modified >/ by your best friend Bernie.

I would bet you cannot even post the letters B&G or any part of the name Dave Casper

what a freaking joke/

but you feel GREAT to be able to post up Dave's name.......so how about a bone for Scott and contribute a $20. thats a rounding error for your gas bill every month LOL

Yeah, He knows his stuff, I have heard from other Fourm members that have gone by his SHOP and there have been Camo M-Plate vehicles there and Dave has been helping them with performance tuning. I don't think the Guy's on the JeepSRT8 Forum that love to bash him have a clue what he is capable of in the way of tuning and Chrysler Knowledge. He just lays low and continues to give our comumuty the help it needs when nobody else can. Thanks go out to Him

Ahhh, that's awesome!! Run any lower 1/4 and 60mph times on the evic?

I can tell by the video the smooth shifts.

wow^^^^^that has to be hard to stomach. Spread th word.....that will not happen here! Send B&G a message to get over here and discuss all the want!

I'm still waiting to pull the trigger on the B&G. Looking for more feedback first. One of my concerns is that removing all the torque management may not be good for the tranny with it being so close to its max torque input, according to the SRT chat a while back. Looks like its working well from what KM as reported here and there.

what does any tuner, CMR etc etc do to a gearbox? I dont see this do anymore harm than my sct does to my jeep after 4 years.....

With the gearbox so close to its limits, WOT shifts at full torque my be detrimental to the life of the tranny. The TM is there for it's reasons. Granted I had no issues with my tuned WK1, but now this tranny is getting ~50 more torques to it. The tranny life in the WK1 took a quick decline once adding boost and 100-150 more hp and similar torque. I just don't think the tranny will hold very well with TM removed. I could be wrong, but we just gotta find out... Instead of lasting 100k miles it'll only last 50k miles. I'm just gonna keep researching across various 392 platforms before I purchase.

http://www.allpar.com/mopar/transmissions/NAG1-WA580.html - cool site with some history on the trannys all the Jeep SRTs use.

I know this has been discussed many a times on both forums over the years but just to reiterate, the WK SRT and WK2 SRT share the same NAG1 thats been proven many times to handle almost up to 600hp/tq. Honestly, even with the torque management removed, I wouldn't have a worry in the world. Just my .02

Yeah that's what I thought too but without torque management and it dropping from 4th to 2nd too many times on a road course. I replaced my trans with only headers and tune at 15k miles.

Hey KM. Curious as to what you're referring to when you state "bog". I'm experiencing a similar issue that I'd consider "bog" as well. 5 or 6 times now it seems like the engine has almost stalled after slowing down to a coast and then re-applying gas.
