I got it from B&G turns off ECO/MDS.Firmer shifts,Raised rev limit,Turns off torque management,No more bog.I ordered an extra ECU for the swap.I posted a video at the bottom ,Any questions??
I've had my new PCM in with 180 degree T-Stat for 1 day now. I LOVE IT! I would definitely recommend it. It runs like it did when it was 20-30 degrees out but better!
Here are my 1st trys 0-60 and 1/4 mile I'm sure they will only get better. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to launch with the new tune!
As for MPG it says 12.2 vs my 12.5 that i was getting. But its only been a day. I will let you know what it says in 2-3 weeks. Oh yeah, I drive the crap out of my Jeep!!!

A little better 0-60. This morning on the way into work I saw that the temp was down to 79 so I did another 0-60 pull. 4.9 is not that far off from the PB when it was 30 degrees out.
I have not put my 180 Tstat in yet but I am running 203 at the coolant temp and 213 at the oil per the EVIC city driving. I did not check these numbers pre-tune. Can someone with a stock ECU check to see your operating temps?
With my 180 t-stat i'm running 188 degrees on the e-way, but it jumps to 210-215 around town before the fans turn on. Dave said that is normal for this tune, and that stock settings are up around 226 degrees around town.
did you guys have trouble getting ahold of B&G? Ive had like 5 members tell me they cant get them through email or phone. I think we have a lot of nonSRT members that want to look into this as well with B&G.
I've never had a problem getting a hold of Dave at B&G. I've always had to leave a message but he has always returned my phone call. He even called me the day I got my PCM to make sure I got it, and find out what I thought.
I've gone through 1 tank of gas since I put the new PCM on, and I see no change in gas milage. My EVIC says 12.5 and that is what i was getting with the stock PCM.
I love not having the MDS on, and not have any drone! It will sound great with my new Borla ATAK Exhaust! I plan on wiring the valves open when I have the tune on, and If I have to go back to the stock PCM on tie them.
KM, what muffler are you using on your custom exhaust setup? The one under the middle of the Jeep near the front doors? I like the ATAK sound, but thinking down the road of swapping out the factory muffler.
I have been trying really hard to get me the tuned PCM/ECU for quite some time but without success in reaching the right people, so if mr 2006snake or anyone who can pm me some details on how to get it I would highly appreciate it. Thanks
Performance/milage after a few weeks.
Cruising at 70 to and from Dallas I am getting about 18.5 MPG, before the tune the same drive at the same speed would net me about 19.5 MPG. Performance definitely improves after you get a tank of gas through it. Shifts became firmer and over all just drives better and feels snappier. With the 180 T-stat my coolant temp is running 185-195 depending on how I am driving it and that is in 108* temps here in Texas. Still real happy I did this mod.
I have tried emailing B&G for the ECU and tune with no reply, I live in Australia and have already recieved the Bwoody CAI and awaiting my exhaust, now all i need is the tune!! I dont even have the car yet haha. I would love to have everything waiting and ready for when ever it is that Chrysler decide to have the launch and release my car! So if anyone could PM me some info that would be great.
I think Red Barron is the only one doing the new ECM plus the flash. If you are just getting your own unit flashed then it makes sense it's less expensive to go direct.
From what I've read you can't just get a new ECM, it needs to be programmed for your car before B&G gets it and that's the service Red Barron provides. If you have a friendly dealer that will plug the ECM into their system and per-progam it then you can do it yourself.
