2014 SRT Dyno STOCK 288km on clock

Hi Guys

The boys at Castle Hill Performance here in Sydney had a GC SRT in today to take the centre muffler out and a base dyno run.
This car is owned by the Castle Hill Jeep dealer.
Here is the dyno sheet,

Jeep only had 288km on the clock so, it is basically brand new.

245 AWKW wasn't bad I thought for a new car!

We also for a test, lifted the lid on the airbox, and it made an extra 14awkw, so an intake is a must for these.

Now just to wait another 3 weeks for mine to arrive!

Just thought I would post it.

Have Fun

Marc

Re: 2014 SRT Dyno STOCK 288km on clock

Pretty close to what I suspected. Near enough to 28% driveline power loss.

My last car was an FPV F6X. 270kw motor converted to 205awkw on a dyno = 24% loss.

Whats the cost for a dyno run at CHE?

Looks pretty spot on with the dyno I had done on my 2013 using the same dyno manufacture... People thought mine was low, but we have damn near the same curve and everything!

Yep, stock mine was 320hp. Best run in Sport mode, but all modes were roughly the same,

My '13 is going in for a custom tune in 2 weeks and it will be getting a run up stock. I'll post it up as it will also be on the same type of dyno.

Re: 2014 SRT Dyno STOCK 288km on clock

RIPP Superchargers says they were/are seeing 380-390whp for stock SRT's. That's a big difference from 320-330whp.

Re: 2014 SRT Dyno STOCK 288km on clock

it is because they are talking rear wheel horsepower, in there vid it is a 2 wheel dyno.

Mine saw 320 all wheel horsepower, at all 4 wheels. You would expect more of a loss with the drivetrain spinning 4 wheels than spinning just the two.
