Hi all,
Can the 14 plate be custom tuned as yet PROPERLY ?
all the ones through diablo have not worked correctly for me. I want to blow my 392 but obviously need to be able to do a complete tune

I was going to use a local tuner and the RIPP supercharger but I'm now waiting for the Herrod package. They are based in Melbourne and took delivery of a SRT last month. Hopefully the have a full kit available in the next month but I'll be giving it 6 months before I start playing with this car :)

Has anyone with a 2014 found a good tune yet? I have a Diablo intune that I used with my 12 SRT and wasn't really impressed. Now I have a 14 SRT and was wondering if anyone has tried the Diablo, Livernois MyCal, or Sct on the 14s? This still crazy that no one has got this down yet....

I was just looking for a reliable tune for the basic bolt ons (CAI, full catback) that shows real world results and doesn't hamper the driveability of the truck. I haven't seen anyone post about this with the MyCal yet? I'm not going to spend $$$ on another tune until I see proof. Diablo has had time and hasn't showed much yet....

I've got the Diablo canned 93 tune running on my 2014 Jeep. It's not impressive but does improve my 0-60 times about 2 tenths. The Diablo tune, I'm between 4.1 to 4.3 seconds on a good day compare to 4.3 to 4.5 without it. I've run them back to back on the same road/conditions.

Good to know. Thanks for the response. I'm adding Kooks catback next week, then CAI, and throttle body later. I'll try the Diablo tune after to see how it works.

That's a good reason to get rid of some mods!!! Good luck with the boost

This might be a stupid question but I don't know the answer.. When you use the intune does it stay plugged in the entire time or do you tune the truck and then unplug it??

That's the only true way to tune properly, you need data to correct/change for improvement .
Than add in supportive mods to help the engine breath better and flow better.

What is the hellcat thing ?
They're is no jeep hellcat, and I don't get all the crap everyone is on about its a coupe not an SUV and the jeep srt is way better inside than any hellcat.

re: Hellcat Jeep .... On my part I probably used the wrong description Dasko

Apart from the Stuart Highway in the NT - I have nowhere that has open limits so I honestly don't need the Blower .... like yaself Dasko , I'm a believer in cleaner breathing & expulsion improvements
CAI , Headers & Exhaust will provide solid gains & help your engine survive longer (provided the owner doesn't abuse or destroy!!!!)
Ask yourself what the V8 supercar owners do this way

Oh & first thing I did was upgrade my Brake rotors - Brembo Sport drilled is the way to go for safety & reliability

for those of you who are wondering, Diablosport now DEFINITELY have improved tuning for the 2014's INCLUDING proper management of temps/fan settings

:)
