That was the message that my trinity displayed when I installed the custom tune from Johan aka Diablotoona.
A base file and two revisions in one week exactly I get an email from Johan saying that after he received my last log file, the log looks great and didn't want to mess with it anymore. I always did the data logs after a a day or two of driving.
Great service, great guy, great response to emails and a great tune.
Happy with the numbers specially in our weather. All In All, I appreciate it very much.
A c63 and a Lexus is F at the light went home unhappy lol
Wow! How close was your 93 can times to this Ace? My tuner is coming in tomorrow and Im ready to see those numbers! How much extra is the custom tuning like this?
Now with the toona tune it's more consistent with these time plus it's more aggressive and responsive with power through a wider range of rpm, but also put in mind that the weather is a big factor, it will get colder in a couple of weeks *wink* *wink*
im gonna say my excuse is that I only have 2700 miles on it since I cant break 4.8. my elevation of 2400ft doesnt help though. If I can get to 4.3 at my elevation I will be happy, thats where my wk1 was at with intake and toon
What is the easiest way to check if Diablo has updated our tune? Surely there is something different than having to remove the tune from the vehicle and plugging the Trinity in the computer and then checking for an updated download
Just go to the diablosport website. Click on support, then download. Find the trinity downloads button. Enter your Trinity serial # and see what the latest update is. It shows the dates. That should save you from changing your tune unless there is an update. Hope that helps.
Question on the custom tune. I just got my custom tune back from Johan but initially noticed my 0-60 time worsened. I was running between 4.4 and 4.5 on the 93 canned tune. I had only modified the WOT fuel parameters because I have a HPE CAI.
Loaded the custom tune last night and my 0-60 time was only 4.7. I think there was more wheel spin at the launch though and I had it in auto. Maybe the traction control killed it a little bit. Were your custom tunes immediately better or did it take a few days?
Another question I have is when I went to go load the custom tune it asked me if I wanted to reset all my parameters. I initially said yes but then figured out it reset the modified settings I had from my canned 93 tune. Turned back on MDS and reset the WOT fuel parameters. Should I have said no and kept my modified parameters on the custom tune??
I would say yes to reloading the parameters if you changed the fuel settings. If the only changes you made had nothing to do with the motor and were preference changes like throttle booster and raised shift points, then I would say no
