Thanks for info Mongoose. So once we flash our puter, we can still extract the tune from the puter, in case we neeed to take it in for service?

Hope we see dyno numbers before SEMA !

CMR = ChipMaster Revolution, the tuning software used to create a custom tune specific for your Jeep and mods.

The Trinity is just the tool used to download and load the tunes to the Jeeps PCM. The tuners tweak the tune with the CMR software to meet your tuning needs.

Example. I use the Trinity to pull my Jeeps tune and send it to Johan at Diablo. Johan then uses my data logs and rewrites my tune with the CMR software for my Jeep. When the tune is completed I load it into the Jeep with the Trinity. This process of tune revision is repeated until the tune is dialed in to give top performance.

Speaking from WK1 experience, a CMR tune is far superior to a canned tune. The canned tunes provide better drive-ability, the CMRs dial in power gains.

MDS is usually an option to disable with previous generations. I assume the same for the WK2.
