Tuner question

So I have a 2015 and its bone stock. Is it worth getting a tuner/programmer for it and if so what kind?
Also, is it worth getting anything else besides a SC because that's out of my price range? I have been skeptical because when I look through the forums half the people say that the stock stuff on the car is better then aftermarket ie intake, exhaust...

The cai will get you 5/7 hp over stock and leave the stock exhaust on IMO. Hold off on the tuner until the 15 is ready for tuning and i would go with a diablo tuner. The canned tunes in the diablo will get you around 10/12 hp but a good dyno or e mail custom tune can get you 25/30 hp with the diablo tuner.

Re: Tuner question

We are working on tuning the 2015 model but it is still in development and hope to be available in the near future. With our MyCal device and our 93 octane tune file on a 2014 Jeep SRT we were able to gain roughly 30whp and 35wtq on a 2014 model.

Just to give you an idea below is a vehicle we had in our shop that did have a few modifications prior to uploading our tune but you can see the numbers with and without our custom tune.

Re: Tuner question

Waiting patiently. Loved the tune for my '14 SS with the CAI. Can't wait for the tune for my '15 Red Vapor!

Re: Tuner question

They haven't unlocked the '15 ECM's yet. I had to buy a 14 for my 14 SRT to use with my Whipple. I'm betting we won't see 15's unlocked for quite some time to come.
