Hi my name is freddy iv been lurking here for a while but dont really post but i just ordered the z autotech tazer and was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it
Sorry if i posted it in the wrong section didnt know where else to post
I have never heard of it until now but am curious about its potential for our rides. Did a quick Google on it and I can't see any features that srt's don't already have except auto upshift. You got any other details I might be missing?
I've got one too. There is really only 3 things that work for the SRT as all the other "add ons" it has are for the lesser models.
1: Line lock. Locks front wheels so you can do a rear wheel burnout (awesome smoke by the way lol)
2: Lightshow. Enables multiple lighting effects using the cars headlights, tail lights etc.
3: Nav in motion. Allows you to enter addresses in the nav menu whilst the car is in motion (bypasses the nav lock). Cant get it to work in mine (Aussie model) and I am still waiting for him to answer my email about it.
Even though Nav doesn't work for me, the look on peoples faces when they see a SRT doing a massive burnout is worth it alone (although be prepared to buy new tires very quickly)
I would like to know just how the "line lock" works and how the tcase is being worked within regard to allowing a rear only burnout? I know FCA can do it with software (there is that video on the net of them doing it).
Just curious as to what is going on in the tcase. Burning out clutches from burnouts would be bad thing.
Works great! Use it as a drl mod, can set fogs not to drop with brights, line lock works great, you can add the drive mode page and the super track pack page however STP page basically doest function(wished it did, it will display the current trans/traction settings but still use nob to change) , pretty sure the nav in motion works on mine(only tried it once, I was on a side Rd going kinda slow, will confirm shortly) clear cel,s and turn off abs/ traction control completely. And of course set forced RWD, or forced AWD. So you can set RWD, set the line lock and hit throttle, shift 2nd, then 3rd and lay one heck of a John force burn out! (I may or may not have done that) I have just left mine in however you don't need to as most setting are just that, a settings, once set to on/off that's where it stays, the 0-60 will suck unless you have drag radials, absolutely blows the rear tires off. Does seem to get slightly better mileage if you drive nice. But for traction/abs disable and line lock device must be in. Light show is good if your into that sort of thing.
